A přesto je stále co dělat. Tak 2024, přeji vám hodně štěstí ve vašich posledních dnech, když čekám, co mě v novém roce čeká. Děkuji všem, kteří byli součástí mé pokračující impaktní cesty během letošní kapitoly. Přeji vám všem hodně úspěchů u dalších kapitol.

Stále jsem workoholik noční sovy, ale začal jsem být selektivnější v tom, čemu jsem řekl „ano“. Znovu jsem se zavázal vážit si svého času a odborných znalostí a přitom zůstat soustředěný, vyvážený a zaměřený na činy a vztahy, které jsou přínosem pro ostatní stejně jako pro mě.

Tento rok byl také o opětovném spojení s rodinou a přáteli v USA. Byl to rok velkého dramatu a naléhavosti, jistě, ale také zajímavých paralel mezi dynamikou demokracie a občanskou společností – problémy, které jsou stejně naléhavé ve střední a východní Evropě jako v USA.

Ano, 2024, byl jsi opravdu rok. A přesto jsem se stále potýkal s jedním základním faktem: Tolik nevládních organizací a sociálních podniků soupeří o stejně omezené finance a talenty – a zároveň příliš mnoho dobrých skupin stále bojuje o pomoc. Uzavře se tato mezera? To ukáže až čas.

Experimentoval jsem s vyhrazenými týdenními „open office“ hodinami. Z každé jsem si odnesl cenné ponaučení. Byl jsem schopen rozšířit šířku a hloubku svých služeb v anglickém jazyce tak, aby pokryly širší škálu potřeb. Vážím si každého klienta a vážím si každé interakce.

#PF2025 | Drahý 2024: Skutečně jsi mi nakopal prdel, stejně jako jsem s tebou bojoval. Jsem rád, že jsme došli k remíze. Letos jsem 8. rokem jako rezident v Česku a 19. rok jako solopreneur zaměřený výhradně na neziskovky, nevládní organizace a sociální podniky.

I grew up in a home where community vibes and chasing your dreams were on equal footing with academics. My family also emphasized civic engagement, social awareness, and connecting to something larger than yourself. And speaking up and acting on the issues that matter to you.

From my university days to inspiring adventures around the world, it's been quite a ride. I'm now expanding my narrative by living and working in purposeful and mindful ways which align with my values and principles.

Social impact. It's a core value, not a buzzword or catchphrase. Done right, embraced and amplifed, it sparks hope, creates opportunity, and connects talents + skills towards substantive change + sustainable progress. Passion + purpose + planning. This is where my professional story is rooted. 📜
