Infuriatingly transparent headline, too—“is masking coming back?” seems to p accurately reflect how so many people feel like masking is something mean that’s done TO them (“are we going to get grounded?”) rather than a thing we can all collectively do to keep one another safe.

We're in a surge so here's your reminder that while it's best to be infected 0 times, if you've been infected before, just do your best to avoid being infected again. You should always be trying to avoid your next infection. The damage adds up. Your body will thank you later.

Wow. Sounds like the workers are in an extremely powerful position and the bosses should give them everything they want.

This report mentions that you're expanding the T&S team. I'd love to send some former colleagues your way - when will you be adding T&S job postings to the jobs site?

My wife & I listened to Neverwhere on our honeymoon and while I know it's not the same format, it changed my concept of audiobooks. It's one of my favorite stories to revisit, and I think about it often

Tweet from @HilaryAgro: During my research I interviewed a guy who said he was a libertarian until he did MDMA and realized that other people have feelings, and that was pretty much the best summary of libertarianism I've ever heard

you're hosting a business conference and a bunch of dudes show up yelling the N-word

do you:

(a) kick them out immediately and reassure attendees that you're taking all reasonable measures to keep them safe, or

(b) talk about how you want to someday build tools for attendees to protect themselves

Two buff doges. The left is workers then saying “they’re trying to break our strike. But we’ll fight them in the streets and burn down the factory if we have to.” The right is workers now saying “there’s a lot of ways to lose a house”

Every heat-related death is preventable, & our governments should be working to eliminate them by:

1) Mandating that all landlords provide AC;

2) Subsidizing AC units + banning utility shut-offs for low-income folks; and,

3) Redesigning our cities & workplaces for climate change resiliency.

What's interesting to me about this is the assumption that this space MUST be open to conservatives, a group that has repeatedly created social networks that intentionally cater only to themselves. No one on the left ever went on to Truth Social expecting a warm welcome.
