It is dark. A candlelit chorus are singing John Lennon’s Imagine. A crowd hold more candles.

It is dark. A candlelit chorus are singing John Lennon’s Imagine. A crowd hold more candles.

Last night I stood among 100s of others in the freezing cold of Soho Square to remember those lives lost as a result of transphobia.
We heard stories filled with anger, grief and loss but what I carried away with me most of all was the love.
These deaths must end.

The First Minister of #Scotland @johnswinney.bsky.social and other members of the Scottish Parliament have joined leading #HIV charities today to mark #WorldAIDSDay.

Together, we reflected on those we’ve lost, challenged stigma, and renewed our commitment to zero new HIV transmissions by 2030.

Three candles in blue, pink and a white on a blue and pink background with text “Transgender Day of Remembrance 20 November”

20 November is Trans Day of Remembrance.

We remember all trans people we’ve lost to violence over the last year.

These are difficult times for the whole community. Hold your trans loved ones close today and show your solidarity. 🏳️‍⚧️🕯️

As inaccessible as medical care can be in the United States, I am so happy to see all of these do it yourself, over-the-counter tests. People shouldn’t have to pay for a doctor’s office visit the same amount as a car payment to be told they have an illness.

Our study suggests that community pharmacies could be a game-changer for #PrEP access in the UK, helping reduce stigma & improve #equity.

However, challenges like knowledge gaps & staff capacity need to be addressed for successful implementation.

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.
