Ppl are like “you can vote out fascists” and like … yes, the U.S. already did that in 2020.

And, then the dum dums of the Biden administration dragged their feet and prosecuted no one letting the fascist come back.

Moral: the next administration needs to step up. Voters can’t do it alone.

Texas Tech System leader cancels academic programs “centered on” sexual orientation, gender identity Chancellor Brandon Creighton directed provosts to phase out the programs and ordered universities to recognize only “two human sexes.”

Texas Tech is expanding its prohibition on "gender and sexual orientation" topics to include faculty research and student theses and dissertations.

Our chancellor wants to censor the truth because he knows it topples the hateful ideology of MAGA.

Knowledge is power, so they plan to destroy it.

Why MAGA men actually loathe tradwives A new study shows submissive women aren't cherished but are held in contempt

The right's pitch for women's submission is that it will cause men to provide, protect, and cherish women.

Turns out the opposite is true. Research shows conservative men see tradwives as lazy parasites. They loathe them.

The NYT published a link to critical original reporting on Iran 45 minutes ago. A good, fair story. They have 53m followers. The engagement metrics you display say they got 94 likes and 33 retweets out of that. Is that accurate? And if so, shouldn't you work on a better algo?

If only 0.1% of users can derive value from the content, it will organically rank lower.

I don’t disagree with the sentiment of this thread, and it’s been a number of years since I’ve been a server, but I’m willing to bet the vast majority of servers are not making $100K.

This piece from @noamscheiber.bsky.social gets at a deeper frustration in this economy. Young people were told that college would be a path to stability. Reality? Too many ended up with debt, housing costs out of reach, and a labor market that no longer lives up to that expectation. 🧵
