Being in Tokyo regularly (other half is Japanese) my go-to place is Tsubaya: it’s a little shop on the corner of Kappabashi-dori, open for 70-or-so years… Recently they started shipping internationally

As always @bcantrill.bsky.social ‘s eloquence is second to none…
“…it should be of little surprise that LLMs have served as anabolic steroids for the brogrammer” 🤣
Former NASA climate scientist, now Senior Scientist at Project Drawdown, Dr. Kate Marvel, has a fantastic piece in the New York Times today.
This is a must-read if you care about science, the planet, and the future.

Couldn’t agree more…
This is… wow… GENIUS 🤯
Trying to explain Sunday’s “summertime” change to the 7 y/o: the look of complete and utter disbelief is priceless!
Yes, my boy, fucking batshit crazy stuff!
Every time I am asked to look at some "interesting" bug on our front-end code, I am always amazed by how much *crap* is running on normal people's browsers...
Just found out that someone/something is polyfilling "crypto.randomUUID()" with some crap that skews our A/B testing cohorts by a smidge...
This could be quite huge: if the MDM component is good enough, it could spell disaster for companies like Kandji or JAMF…
For sure I’m going to be checking it out quite thoroughly next month!
I’m using it at home…
Basic, but does the job right! My suggestion, just add a Raspberry with Wireguard/Tailscale if you want remote access because I got locked out of Teleport once when I was in Japan and getting back in from away was a bit of a nightmare (it involved having a neighbor over)
Not that I support the FCC ban or anything… But have you heard of Ubiquiti? Patriot friendly and to be honest probably the best out there! Even their Amplifi (home) line is not bad…
Not that I support the FCC ban or anything… But at least now in the USA you don’t get to deal with AVM’s FritzBoxes… That’s a great plus!!!
Not that I support the FCC ban or anything… But there’s a lot of 💩 out there!
Here’s a fun little video that you can follow along if you know curl and bash, really entertaining!
The Berlin Swapfest is back for number five! Just in time for Spring cleaning!

@theguardian.com just published a breakdown of the cost so far, and the last slide is a “what if the money was used for something else”… And that’s just 12.7bn, not 200bn…

Rule 34…
PPS. I know I can kludge something together now, but without major adoption (Cloudflare, AWS ALB are my targets) it will be hard to get stuff working “for real”…
The HTTP QUERY method has been in the works for over five years, and “just” published yet another draft…
I’ve been eagerly awaiting for it since the first draft because I’m tired of stringifying JSON in a `query` search parameter on GETs…
Will this ever see the light of the day, @jasnell.me 😂?

I’m at that point in parenthood where my seven-year-old’s oratory has surpassed that of the biggest economy in the world... Let that sink in!
Funny coincidence: Put your hands up (for Detroit) was released in 2006, same year (IIRC) when we released Cocoon 2.2 with FlowScript… 😂
Weren't we doing this shit some 20 years ago? 😂
@tcurdt.bsky.social @swallez.com
Just wait for `curl | openclaw` and then watch the fireworks 🤦
Me, in front of my laptop, converted into a Lego character.
My wife seems to be having too much time (and AI credits) on her hands...
BHAHAHAHAHAA! 😂
Someone oughta prove us wrong!
Good catch, thanks!
Sooo, apparently we have a store now, in the heart of Berlin (1 minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie)!

The folks in our warehouse started calling our UniFi access points "UFO"s... Therefore I aptly renamed the network as "Area 51" 😂
