Corporate money has no place in politics. We need a court that can overrule Citizens United and its brethren and end corrupt corporate influence in D.C. <end of rant>

Same thing with the food industry. Why are there such disparities? Dietary guidelines are influenced by corporate food. Cheap foods gets subsidized by the Feds, health foods are too expensive. The haves can eat healthy, the have-nots suffer because of this corporate control of our nutrition.

Corporate influence (aka greed) is the root of all evil in this country. I read about how China and Denmark have achieved remarkable transitions to renewable energy. Why not in the US? Because the petroleum industry has us in their grips and we won't allow ourselves to break free. It's all $.

Wow. Hard one! I had to actually map it out and go through each possibility before I got it.

I should also note that Justice Kagan, in her concurrence, provided some β€œadvice” to Colorado on how to structure the law to change the debate and possibly the level of scrutiny applied.

It seems to me that if talk therapy is protected speech that cannot be restricted, another avenue to hold those accountable who engage in a "therapy" that is not evidence based and has been shown to be harmful--and which is not the standard of care in psychotherapeutic professions--

The Supreme Court ruled in Chiles v Salazar today that conversion therapy is protected speech as defined by the First Amendment and that Colorado's law banning conversion therapy is an impermissible viewpoint restriction on protected speech subject to strict scrutiny.

Was it a coincidence that the SCOTUS decision in Chiles v Salazar was handed down on International Transgender Day of Visibility? πŸ€”

Would a search incident to lawful arrest work under these circumstances? Here, he is creating the reasonable suspicion of firearm possession, not her.

The Loper case overturning the Chevron deference is an alarming trend that is taking science away from scientists and allowing pseudoscience to flourish under the watch of a activist Supreme Court. Should we now call it public β€œhealth?”

Updates from AHLA: some shake-ups in the FDA with Dr. Prasad expected to step down at the end of April; HHS Secretary, with the backing of DOJ, claiming broad and β€œunreviewable” authority to set policy, particularly wrt vaccine mandates; USPSTF perhaps being allowed to atrophy.

Ok, this was a most unusual solve. I don't think I've ever not gotten a single letter in three attempts. Options were pretty limited at that point with only one vowel left.

Didn't study that in law school as it pertains to 4A search and seizure! Torts, yes! The transferred intent doctrine is alive and well on Con Law, too. Interesting case and analysis.
