Did u know? Nature always has the answer...The world can seem like a big & scary place at times. Next time you feel fearful, just get yourself into an outside space & focus on a small soul "doing its thing" - just like this tiny snail, quietly drinking from raindrops on a leaf. Nature's reboot.🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🐌
It's finally arrived, part 2 of the ADHD taskforce report. Let's hope this creates momentum to make a real change. Big up to @adhdpathfinding.org.uk for raising awareness. Give them a follow, they're a great bunch!

Interesting, I might give that a go.
Some of his recipes are great, ottolenghi.co.uk/pages/recipes
Made the Marinated chicken thighs with fenugreek and ginger, tasted great. Strange using cream as part of the marinade, would change this to yoghurt in future. Also, the giant couscous is fantastic!
Apologies, I'm one of those people🤣! Although I did work as a chef for 16 years and it's very installed in me! Clean as you go, have a dedicated bowl for waste, and don't panic, it'll be fine!
Under current NHS England Right to Choose rules you pick a provider and they see you as soon as they’re able - within weeks sometimes. This change could make it years and stop access to medication too. Effectively doing away with Right to Choose.

Well, that's one way of looking at it 🤣
🤣, I never expected any payback!
Thanks mate ♥️
Whilst not one for self promotion (yet), I thought I'd share my latest blog post on the DM path...

Measurements in cups and sticks of butter. If I come across a recipe with these, I have to skip it (sorry🤦🏼♂️).
Now I'm feeling the pressure 🤣. Does he have a set recipe that he uses? I'm curious and also looking for any improvements.
There are so many variations, I'd love to try them all😋
I love how the flower colour depends on the ph level of the soil. Fascinating stuff
Got these from my local supermarket. Tesco's had an offer on for 3 packs of 2 duck legs for £10 which is quite good.
That's a great idea, I think I'll have one later👍
Enamel casserole with duck legs, herbs, garlic, peppercorns and fat waiting to go in the oven.
So, after a lot of pressure from a certain friend, I'm slowly prepping my next cassoulet, starting with some confit duck legs. 5 day dry marinade of thyme, rosemary, garlic and black peppercorns and in the oven for 5 hours. Next job, Toulouse sausages. Watch this space! 🍽️
Love this 😻. If you only need one thing in the world, it's bread pudding!
Fantastic! I've got some marinading in the fridge at the moment. Will use when I get round to making cassoulet again. Great stuff and I really fancy some roast potatoes now even though it's 6 in the morning 😂
Garlic, tomato and rosemary focaccia
Made one once, definitely use plenty of oil and flaked sea salt on top. Good luck, it's very tasty and most importantly, enjoy making it!😄
Half made pork pie, with hand diced filling, not minced.
Large pork pie ready for the oven
Large cooked pork pie
Cross section of cooked pork pie, whole thing about 1.75kg
Had visitors last weekend so, any excuse for a pork pie!🍽️
Nice! I'll have to try this. Also peanut butter on milk chocolate digestives is mind blowing 😁
You have no excuse for not making limoncello!
🤣
Selection of ingredients for Christmas cake, dried fruit, brown sugar, flour, eggs, butter, mixed spice, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
Yes, the Christmas cakes have been made, 10 in fact, but here's a pic of the MEP. In fact the MEP is my favourite part of cooking, always has been. 🍽️
2/2 I tried to follow it as closely as I could but with a few small alterations. It took days, confit duck legs, making Toulouse sausages and then final assembly. But well worth it. Very, very happy with the result!
1/2 I'm a big fan of Cassoulet, anyone who knows me will tell you that. Some time ago I set out to make my own. After a bit of research, I discovered Paula Wolfert's recipe was supposed to be the best. There are many, many variations on this dish but I had to pick 1 and this was it.🍽️
