I haven't read them all. But I know what you mean.

He's no Nabakov.
That's a good effort. I haven't read the Book Thief, but I agree about the Amor Towles book. It was OK, but nothing special. I also was not a huge fan of Where the Crawdads Sing. It was OK but didn't punch me in the gut like a great book does.
I choked in the second 50. My total just 29 all up. My wife got a scarcely believable 74. I do read a lot more genre novels than she does, which didn't feature strongly in the list. How did you go?
Looking forward to the rest of the list anyway. I’ll see if I can catch up a bit tomorrow and will let you know 😀
Probably The True History of the Kelly Gang, the Bee Sting, Circe... Horse maybe.
17 for me so far.
Sure was. I had read more of the list than I expected, but not as many as I'd like.
I’m listening too.
Another one of my Tucker Family series on the way. If you've got low teen or younger kids they might make a good Christmas gift. ozbookstore.com/products/gul...

Bloody awesome.
Just in case you are feeling old, this legend is 89 and just released this song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yp3u...
Amazing book. Nearly finished and can hardly drag myself away from it.
Lol, I'm not surprised.
Year Ones are masters of tricky, often irrelevant, questions.
A sunny weekend at last. I'm grappling with the idea that I can go outside and do yard work.
Useful tool, well worth ten $.
I haven't read them all by any means, and I'm showing my popular fiction DNA here, but Great Expectations is my favourite.
Not my favourite Dickens, but a good read nonetheless.
No one's getting knocked over in the rush, but I'm getting some nice reviews for my new book for upper primary/lower secondary. And Book Two is out in a couple of weeks. ozbookstore.com/products/hig...
Just finished watching Untamed with Sam Neil and Eric Bana. It uses all the tropes, but with enough new twists to make it interesting.
A few days clearing my head. Up where there air is clear and cold.
Nothing wrong with a long book.
Wow. Stunning.
I was wondering why the barbecue plates are so clean at this camp.
I still dip into this book regularly.
