Some lunch time knitting!

I’ve been really trying to embrace the slowness of this knit. Half fisherman’s rib using fingering weight yarn on 2.75mm needles is no joke 😅

Enjoying a new cast on and it’s snowing outside. A perfect Sunday in my opinion.

Newest spin on the wheel!

I’m using a 6 day Cormo fibre countdown. My goal is to chain-ply and end up with a self-striping yarn. ✌🏻

My current thoughts for the countdown are either a fun fractal or doing some kind of self striping pattern and chain plying.

Just finished plying this braid of Corriedale, Shetland and Sari Silk. The colours are great, but I don’t know if I love spinning with Sari Silk.

I’m excited for my next spin though! I have a 6 day Cormo winter solstice countdown from Akara Yarns. I just need to decide how I want to spin it.

I don’t have an FO pic yet, but I just finished my first big handspun project this week (Traveler Shawl by Andrea Mowry) and I’m pretty proud of it!

I love your sweater Bee, I’ve never tried enterlac but it looks so cool :)

What I’ve been knitting this week:
• Finished and blocked my Traveler Shawl! This was my first fully handspun project and my first shawl (not really sure how to wear it yet)
• Swatched for the Maxine sweater… did not get gauge, the colours are great though 😅
• And! Split for sleeves on my Noctua 🥳
