Can relate, I once had a cat come up to me, rub her head against my hand, and then hiss at me for touching her.

Where's the thread?
Are charges, lawsuits, and new laws going to help in the short term?
They don't play by the rules. At this point, the gloves should be off and they should just be arrested on sight.
Let the law do its work in the background, but prevent any further harm *now*.
Man I fucking hate this time line we're in.
It's time for local / state police to just arrest these fuckers. Stop recognizing their authority. They're just terrorists pretending to be law enforcement.
I'm aware all of this is much easier said than done, especially from across the Atlantic, like I'm doing. But given that I have a lot of family in the US, this shit is pissing me the fuck off and I had the urge to vent.
Also, I'm wondering where all the second amendment fetishists are. In my opinion, what's happening right now is precisely why the amendment exists.
If (when...?) Trump moves on Greenland, the US military needs to be crippled: Host nations need to shut down their bases. Cut off power, blockade the entrances, make airspace exit only, something. (I'm aware this one's wild, but an invasion of Greenland would be wild, too.)
There's strength in numbers. States with sane governments need to band together and resist. MAGA can't fight back on all fronts. (...can they?)
Any cooperation with and money transfers to the federal government need to stop. Make their jobs as difficult as possible.
State and local police should step up and arrest every single one of them. Fuck "jurisdiction". They don't give a shit about the rules, so why should we?
"Federal" should no longer mean anything. They've forfeited their authority.
There needs to be some kind of safety net, so people feel comfortable potentially risking their jobs by resisting. We should all chip in and gather funds.
The US needs mass resistance right now. ICE need to be obstructed every step of the way.
Goods, services, friendships, relationships - everything needs to be withheld. Name and shame.
People only have as much authority as we let them have (but that part's difficult given that they're armed).
I'm gonna throw out some thoughts on recent events. My knowledge and ideas are far from perfect, but I'm willing to learn, so feel free to tear my ideas to shreds in the replies. (Just be nice about it π)
Then it's time for the state to conduct its own investigation and arrest the agent if he dares to return to Minnesota.

Yes! We need more like this. These motherfuckers need to obstructed every step of the way.

How can anyone support this?
No uniform. No badge. No warrant. One guy masked.
Just a guy saying he's in charge.
This is effectively kidnapping.
Guys who mentally peaked in middle school living out their power fetishes.
I'm supremely disappointed in the US and those who voted for this shit.
He has Swiss Francs?!
i created a social media platform to solve tech problems. but now i also have to deal with people problems? what the fuck
They'd have freedom of speech even if they were banned.
They won't be prosecuted for their speech. They're free to say whatever and we're free to ignore them, shun them, and kick them from our platforms.
They are not owed a platform just because of their right to free speech.
I'm enjoying working with Codex. How often do you encounter hallucinations or bad code / architecture?
Ja leck mich doch am ZΓΌckerli
(seriously hope that's not considered offensive)
The fact is, the conversation around trans rights _isn't_ healthy discourse - a fight for the right to exist cannot _be_ a healthy discourse. Fights over rights cannot healthy discourse in any society.
Modern framing of rights fights as something to be debated has broken society irreparably.
