Fortunately Liverpool has the self respect to acknowledge and remember it's role in the slave trade. The Maritime Museum has a significant permanent display about the slave trade.

EU and UK need to do more, more quickly. The slow response to Russian aggression has lead to the current stalemate. If Ukraine had been supplied with the more advanced weapons more quickly, and allowed to use them fully, Russia would have been in it's knees by now.

Doing business with India is difficult. The whole mindset of Indian business and negotiation is different. When you think you are about to close the deal, you suddenly find yourself back at square one. I have little hope of a trade deal being achieved.

It's so hard for them to admit to being wrong. Slowly they are changing.
