It's funny that I recently wrote blog posts about eighteenth-century hymns and period-dramas-with-a-lot-of-wailing and only *NOW* watched "The Testament of Ann Lee." As a historical movie, nothing special, but the music and iconography were beautiful.

Why Wasn't There A Second Age of Reptiles? YouTube video by PBS Eons

I love Eons, on @PBS, which (frankly) is the best science education program we have had in decades. The way they pose questions, incorporate cutting-edge research, etc., is wonderful.

“Man cannot do without beauty, and this is what our era pretends to want to disregard. It steels itself to attain the absolute and authority; it wants to transfigure the world before having exhausted it, to set it to rights before having understood it.”
