July wrap up and events Plant based chai, Turkish breakfast, eco dyeing and a small sale

I was a bit quiet here. I was busy with my shop work and then this summer I took some time off and attended a few workshops and events. A bit about them here,

In India we stir fry it with potatoes, make raita, stuff it in flatbreads.

Bathua from the garden. Chenopodium album or white goosefoot, grows as a weed here. Anyones uses this in their cooking?

- Sultana scones spiced with chai masala
- mango, cardamom and saffron cake with a drizzle of saffron skyr

Did an Indian inspired afternoon tea last weekend. Some of the things I made: - masala potato, pea and paneer puffs
- coriander, mint and yogurt and spicy tomato chutney
- vegan cream cheese & veggie sandwich
- cumin biscuits, thandai biscuits, chickpea crackers, cheese biscuits

Mango and cardamom ice cream was next. This was the first time I tried making icecream at home and it was so delicious 😀😍.

Just look at that colour 😍. Made a mango shake with a little bit of chilled soy milk that's it, no sugar and nothing else needed.

Its mango season in India and around. Bought some Bangladeshi mangoes from Misti Farm. This is Langda and Himsagar variety.

I will be in Gothenburg for few days. What shall I not miss? Food, vintage, art, handmade, homemade, good stuff, must see, if you have reccomendations, please share 🙃🌿.
