Odd is, now that I think about it, too tame a word to use. It’s egregious as hell, given that the Episcopal Church (a Christian denomination that still believes in a two-state solution and has a weird, have-it-both-ways stance re: abortion), has been spot on about queer rights for *50* years.

The odds are that she’ll go to her grave with said particular aversion. That’s not unique to her, because *a lot* of cishet people are in the same boat.

To be clear: she doesn’t hate the fact that I’m bisexual, nor does she hate LGBTQ+ people. On the other hand, she has a clear aversion to acknowledging the levels of discontent and bigotry that is being inflicted towards LGBTQ+ Ghanaians by their cishet counterparts.
