An incredibly long concrete ramp inside of a building dedicated to housing the ramp.

I still can’t get over the km long ramp at Confederation GO Station in Stoney Creek for people with mobility issues.

It always worries me when a loon swims under the boat when I’m fishing (even thought they are beautiful to watch). Hooking one would be a nightmare (in the sense that I’d feel awful for hurting it). Kingfishers and seagulls similarly, but they tend to dive bomb and there is less worry.

Yeah, that was another thing. Everyone was so helpless without the player that there was no illusion that you were in some kind of actual world.

I liked 3 but I stopped playing 4 because there was such a huge disconnect between the main plot and the urgency with which the game had you pursue it. It didn’t make sense to be managing towns when you were supposed to be looking for your kidnapped child. Took me right out of it.

On the second loop, I realized she’s using a knuckle duster. I hope they deserved it.

I have done versions of this, prefaced my presentations saying that the visuals were placeholder, and still had people ask “so is this what the final version will look like?”

It can also be helpful to convert that sheet into black and white (using luminance) to see if it still stands out. You’ll see some icons wash out, which indicates that they may not be very legible to people who perceive colour differently. One of my favs was the original Temple Run icon. It popped.

I liked putting my icons on a sheet of popular game icons to see if it stood out or blended in. A feels like it would pop more but you need to check.
