Anyway it turns out perfumes in the base game are rubbish. The only one really worth using is the Uplifting Aromatic, and that’s outclassed by Golden Vow anyway.
Still, it was fun trying to track down all the arteria leaves in the game.

This time my #EldenRing build was centred on perfumes. Elizabeth Arden (pictured) was essentially a DEX build - got the nagakiba early and mostly used Unsheathe, which is way more powerful than I’d appreciated - but with extensive use of perfume consumables.

Anyway, Grand Alf was created largely so that other players could have a giggle when they saw his name while summoning. I hope they like it. Not a huge amount of summoning is happening these days.
As for fashion souls, I kept the starter Astrologer’s set on almost exclusively. I couldn’t find anything that was more Gandalf-y. Even the big hats (Ranni, Alberich) didn’t work on him. Disappointed.

This was an almost entirely sorcery-only run. I briefly used the short sword, but most of the time it wasn’t necessary. I also had a play with Adula’s Moonblade, I can see why people like it.
