I have begun to think about finally trying to work on my visual novel game demo again, instead of putting so much of myself into DnD. I love tabletop, but having a special interest in something that relies on other people's involvement and availability has been depressing.

I think having characters in a specific setting/universe can help motivate you to draw more, even if you aren't sure what their specific story is. But self-motivation is truly really difficult even when it's all just for fun and improvement.
