i came out the first time when I was 13, I spent the rest of my adolescence being told queer people should be killed, I came out again as trans when I was 25. everyday of my life has been survival. and I'm just so damn tired.

Being trans is never something I've tried to hide with my online presence, having the pride flag on my persona's cheek, and in my logo. But it IS something I've been ashamed of. Not because of conscious thoughts, but a lifetime of conditioning and harm. It's everyone's duty to make the world safer.

trans can be nonbinary. trans can reject gender altogether. trans can be someone who uses any combination of pronouns. trans can be no hrt or surgery. trans can be whatever you want it to be.
