Our Piotr Gnyp connected legendary Polish developer Maciej Miąsik with The Strong National Museum of Play. The archive of the iconic studio X-Land now has a safe, long-term home.
We hope more creators choose to preserve their work and follow this path.

Zgadzamy się z taką potrzebą i uważamy, że takie święto powinno zaistnieć. Pytanie: kiedy? 🤔

Managed to pull it off! GOG at Future Games Show with a great video, a warm shoutout from the hosts, and—most exciting—a Tier 1 show highlighting game preservation. Really proud of how this one turned out. 🎮✨ youtu.be/qCd9xOm1pkE?...
My plan for tomorrow? @gammuseum_ in Roma 🎮🔥
The drum-triggered sounds are mesmerizing. As an installation, this left the biggest impression on me—truly haunting and unforgettable.

The projected figures, waiting for interaction, instantly reminded me of Wraith: The Oblivion—spirits reaching through the shroud, longing to share their stories.
On my second visit to the Vatican, I encountered “In Principio (e poi)” by Studio Azzurro—an interactive video installation on three massive black screens, with a fourth below for sound.
It’s 2025, and my kid just declared that from now on, all vacation photos will be taken exclusively on a Nintendo 3DS. Pure hipster energy 😎

What a wonderful collaboration between GOG and PSX Extreme. Take a look at this special edition of the magazine that highlights PC games from the 90s. ❤️
Check how each game is marked to indicate whether it is available on GOG and included in the GOG Preservation Program.

Spent the weekend at GameHearts repping GOG. The event focused on how gamedev connects with culture, policy & economy at both EU and national levels. I made sure game preservation and real industry support were front and center. Now let’s see if these ideas turn into real action where it matters!
Even though I know some of these stories—working at GOG means game preservation is always on my mind—it’s great hearing the team talk about why and how we fight for it.
Thanks @theretrohour.com for having us! Thanks The Retro Hour for having us!

Hey indiedevs and gamedev folks, if you’re thinking about working with a publisher, give buff.ly/2FQxlvV a look. Great resource to navigate contracts—must-read before signing anything.
Hey Gene, sorry to reach out this way, but I wasn’t sure how else to contact you! I’m Piotr from GOG, and I’d love to chat about game preservation, our work on making classics playable, and the challenges behind it all. If you’re interested, happy to move this to DMs or email—pgnyp(at)gog.com
Graffiti near my workplace: “The ego of ‘artists’ is the enemy of artistic progress!”
Surprisingly sharp take for random graffiti. But is art even possible without an artist’s ego?
I haven't seen ice on the Vistula River in quite some time.
It’s a great feeling to organize interviews like this and help raise awareness about important topics—our digital cultural heritage and the fight to preserve it https://buff.ly/3QCO7A1
Had a blast doing this interview about GOG, its origins, and how it works with Vice. A topic close to my heart, featuring amazing people, some stories were told for first time ever, and hey—I’m on Vice! Thanks @lejenk603.bsky.social for this opportunity ❤️ www.vice.com/en/article/f...

Lesson learned: avoid nighttime, random encounters, and unnecessary fights. Also, I suck at lockpicking.
But it’s oddly addictive—like a hardcore Skyrim where survival is the real challenge.
Anyway, back to the grind—I just discovered blacksmithi ng.
