tbf this whole song is insane:
i hope I cut myself shaving tomorrow, I hope it bleeds all day long
Our friends say it's darkest before the sun rises - we're pretty sure they're all wrong

I hope that our few remaining friends give up on trying to save us,
And I hope we come up with a failsafe plot to piss off the dumb few who forgave us
I see'um YK?
Big black nemesis, parthenogenesis...
Cartoon with a Bob Ross character at an easel - the easel has a bunch of text with red lines and circles around it. Bob holds a red pen and a palette with Grammar, Methods, Results, Citations written on it. Caption 'we don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents'

I want *your* specific suggestion or input based on *your* knowledge and experience. If that's through the lens of AI but you've done the work to understand what I'm asking for first then done the work to narrow things before giving me stuff then that's fine.
Oh you want input on what you should make for dinner tonight? Well, here are 75 options.
They are ranked. By some metric. That might be useful to you. Or, you know, not.
you'd likely be right because this comes in from multiple levels with multiple sources. However, this specific comment was related to a number of well-intentioned scientists who have contributed input to things (assisted by AI) that increase rather than decrease the burden of work.
the AI-enshittification of science proceeds apace
In case anyone was worried about that
Current and pending is going as well as can be expected
<record scratch> *freeze frame* Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got here.

A movie couple that would definitely have a podcast.

The SciArt Feed here on Bluesky is gated so I can keep Gen AI out.
If someone posts AI, I boot them and it disappears. I think it’s happened twice in 2.5 years. A worry-free feed.

Come listen to me talk about problems and solutions (?) in science and academia!
I'm sure I solved everything, right?
TBF to me I don't *think* it's BS when I say it...
Sonya calls me on my BS frequently - LOL
you're doing better than I am. I remember stuff all the time that I have to check. I'm probably better than 50/50 at being right... depending on the day (joking --- but, you know... not)
Wow! I know you and trust you (but verify) and had to look this up to make sure it was actually real. Dude. That is crazy
It's just one toilet flush Michael. What could it cost? $125?
mebbe he meant 'hyperbaric'?
Same goes for AI-generated text/writing!
