Sometimes I miss the days of just playing a game over the course of however long. Grinding levels, fooling around with in game mechanics, mostly just being silly about it.

Sure I still have the time to play games but there is a sense of urgency now that I can't explain.

Maybe it's me, probably isn't just me. I don't really enjoy the endings of games, books and such where the heroes are all "we are going to do so much stuff after we save the world"

then all end up , or most, sacrificing themselves. Then the game or book goes "but hey! everyone else lived!" bleh...
