Scots pay highest bills in the UK

The absolute con, that is the ‘national grid’, that the cost of sending Electricity generated in Scotland, down to England, is charged onto Scottish consumers.
Add that & the Ofgem racketeering, adds further costs to Scots because England still uses gas turbines.

Is nobody on here talking about Israel just giving Tommy Robinson/Stephen Yaxley-Lennon an invitation to visit as one of the best friends of UK Judaism?

Your Party co-leaders in row as Sultana accuses Corbyn of running ‘sexist boys’ club’ Jeremy Corbyn warned an email inviting Your Party supporters to sign up for paid memberships was ‘unauthorised’

Word on the ground is that all the left leaning kids have switched to the Greens anyway.

I'm completely unsurprised about this.

58% say YES to Scottish independence. That’s not a fringe—it’s a majority. Yet Westminster clings to economic control while Scotland fuels the UK’s energy, whisky, and exports. Independence isn’t a dream—it’s overdue. #Scotland #IndyRef2

SNP attacks MoD spending less in Scotland than south of England The Ministry of Defence (MOD) spent £390 per capita north of the border in 2024-25 - compared to £1,120 in the South West of England.

🤨The Ministry of Defence (MOD) spends almost three times as much in SW England as it does in Scotland! -

In 2024/25:

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿: £390 per person.

SW🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 : £1,120 per person.
Anyone surprised 🤷

I'm sorry not to be able to meet constituents who have gathered for the Climate Mass Lobby at Dynamic Earth.

However, I am stuck inside for good reason: pushing for more action on preventing and tackling wildfires, given the increase in frequency and intensity.

Yet another anti Scottish headline from the Herald, owned by London owned Newsquest who are in turn owned by US based Gannet.

@southlanarkshire.gov.uk who gave permission for Carlisle Rd In Blackwood & Kirkmuirhill to be plastered in Union Jacks on a weekend when Tommy Robinson & the far right are demonstrating? We’ve never had a display like this in our villages before even though we’re next to Larkhall & it’s not on

I wish WM would do something similar here - tho' I suspect we might never get to know the findings unless they show the UK industry is squeaky clean.

Can you guess whose NHS performs best – Scotland, England, or Wales? In Scotland The SNP has been responsible for the NHS since 2007. In Wales Labour has run it since 1999. In England its Labour again, after the Liberals and Tories had their turn. Which performs best?

Of not having healthcare, education, a pension

BBC Scotland isn't Scottish. It's a London controlled franchise. The 'News' department doesn't report news, it pushes political (unionist) narratives. BBC reporters don't mention that Scotland already builds more affordable houses/head than England. The narrative must be negative (via @MSM_monitor)
