As someone playing in their first PT and only has a week to test the new set, I have become the embodiment of panic

Just booked my Flights and Accomidations to Secrets of Strixhaven PT in Vegas
and my bank account was screaming at me the whole time

Isn't this the last one they are taking from you in BC? I thought I saw they were stopping it there.
It is still going on here in Alberta despite a vote years ago

I think Ojer is the best card vs mono-green, but is less potent vs the meta I faced. I think with mono-green being a top deck I think it might be worth it just to give you some skin in the game.

I didn't have a lot of time to prep and even lost a game to not knowing how speed worked in paper. Otherwise played well and got good matchups overall.

After doing poorly at the main event in Toronto I was somewhat worried about this weekend
I love Vancouver, so for me this is Vacation's first competition second.

The 6 Hour Pork and Beef Bolognese was at the top of the menu for a good reason. The depth of flavour sucked me in like a whirlpool. I was expecting it to be very rich with heavy flavours, but it was much lighter than I expected. I would eat this every day for a month if I could.

It was a great pairing with the Ricotta Gnocchi with Black Truffle to cut through the richness. The scales of flavour were balanced by the truffle to make a wonderfully decadent meal not overwhelming

They first brought out wonderful little breads that they refilled for me when I depleted them. I saw they had a non-alcoholic cocktail list so I had to get one. Citrusy cocktail with a ginger zip that cleaned the palette beautifully without staying past it's welcome

Those eyes scream power bottom to me

After getting off the train in Vancouver the first thing I did was go to Danbo. They had curry Ramen, which is my favourite, so an excellent start to this trip.
Now to make my way to the AB&B for check in.

I swear to god, Wizards can't get out of their own god damned way sometimes.

They are making Magic Online change what decklists get published. Only the Top 8 decklists will get posted for challenges under 64 players.
