Building better chronologies from the sediment up - presenting at #AAA2025
Posts by Nathan Jankowski
No, thank you for the experience. The lack of volcanos in Oz forced me into sedimentology/Quaternary geology. Im starting a tenured lectureship in Environmental Geoscience at the start of the new year. So Iβve hung in there. I really want to repeat the exploding barrel practice for my first years.
Mindlessly wandering through YouTube this evening and came upon this familiar face that made me smile. @volcanojenni.bsky.social taught me all things volcanos at #UEA almost 20 years ago as a confused exchange student from Australia. The best class and pracs I did as an undergrad #TeamAustralia

Happy Valentineβs Day.
Bother reviewers appear to think my paper still is alive after review. But the spleen needs removing, a new set of lungs deployed, and a bigger heart to pump more data. All, in all, not bad.

This seems strangely familiar and equally as short sighted
