I’ve been struggling to come up with something to say about Doug Orleans’ Intersect other than, β€œYou gotta try it!”

But really, you gotta try it!πŸ˜πŸ‘

It’s a super unique capturing game using card ranks as intersecting points. Very thinky but not overly so ☺️

We’re off the beaten path again with with our first pyramid game of the new year, IceFrogs by Jason Spears & Eric Oosterwal.

Believe it or not, this game is all about jumping piecesπŸ˜… We found only allowing for stacks one piece high created some great tension πŸ‘πŸ˜

Color Wheel is the beautiful solo/co-op game of swapping pieces until all are grouped into clusters of 1 color. Pretty & fun, the 'no speaking' rule adds complexity as you anticipate your teammate's moves, similar to Hanabi. Check out what folks are saying about Color Wheel...

Not to be outdone by the Looney Labs holiday gift the #LooneyGameoftheMonth Color Wheel is also quite a treat πŸ˜πŸ‘

This was my second coop game. We didn’t do too bad and were able to complete placement with three turns left to spare. Love this little puzzle game ☺️

The Looney Labs gift for 2025, Andy Looney’s Looney Dejarik, did not disappoint! As a matter of fact it was a hoot πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ‘ The chance dice add a level of unpredictability that was unexpectedly fun. A bit swingy in all the right ways. We laughed a lot 😊

Even though it’s not technically a pyramid game, I am Star Wars fan and I’m looking forward to playing it. Even more so now πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ‘

Taking my time these days is proving to be beneficial. No rush, no fuss, just chill 😎
Folio by David Morgan-Mar captures this chill feeling in connect four game form. Place player picked pieces to create the grid but think carefully or you’ll give away the win 😬

After being silenced by the zen of Zendo I needed something crunchy to get me going again. Enter Robert Dudley’s Krump. This game hit all the right notes to get the gears turning. Filled with trappy strategy that blends checkers and chess it won’t disappoint

They should definitely stop πŸ›‘ one more roll is likely to lead to them losing all those pieces. In addition if they stop now they will have one complete trio πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ‘

Ice Dice is a fast & simple press-your-luck dice game. Collect 3 monochrome trees to win! Simple, right? Until you roll the same color twice & bust! Stressful? Yes. Fun? Very! But don't take our word for it, check out what folks are saying about Ice Dice then try it for yourself!
