You can't take the Razorback. We are gone and gone and gone.

Literally I learned 12 songs in two weeks earlier this year, and yet every time I start working on a new Brigade chart I go through the same emotional roller coaster. My lizard brain panics, thinking THIS time it's finally going to be the ONE SONG I can't memorize.
Spoiler: it never is.
Sitting with the discomfort of the unknown is the worst. Who decided this was how mature adults handle life? 😤
Finally, an opener for the classic closer:
He didn't even clean it up, it's just lying there and in a couple days it's gonna start to smell.
I'm beginning to think that part of why it gets harder to make new friends as we age is simply the increasing effort involved in sifting through all the "who I used to be" to determine what's necessary in order to communicate "who I am" to someone new.
In the foreground, a tabby cat sleeps curled up on a textured blanket atop a gray couch, taking up the right side of the frame. In the background, across a dining area with purple-covered chairs and a patterned rug, another tabby cat sits upright near the corner of a hallway, creating a sense of depth and balance in the composition.
"Kittens in Repose"
I just tore through "The Great Believers" in three days. I spent 80% of the book interested but not emotionally overwhelmed... and then Rebecca Makkai reached in and ripped my heart out over the space of five sparsely-filled pages. Not me openly sobbing on an airplane or anything.
Automatic faucets aside, Houston International Airport is pretty darn nice.
Did you read the same Reddit article I did on reasons faucets don't recognize me?? 🤣🤣
But if you try to answer "Why did you do that?" you get the "I don't want excuses."
But... you asked?
I hate automatic sensors on bathroom faucets, because they never work for me. I would *love* to wash my hands, now please notice I exist.
In other news, company with decades of experience in engineering and manufacturing technology applies these skills and takes the time to get it right.
Honda successfully tested an experimental reusable rocket.

Every time I read about another of Elron Muskrat's rockets blowing up, I hear Jed Rees in Galaxy Quest: "And it exploded."

I will never understand how he has as many kids as he does. 🤮
I'd be far more curious what would happen if they tested a few hairs.
IT'S BRIGADE DAY!!!
And somehow after last Friday, I am voluntarily getting back on an airplane. 😳
Someone asked me if Blades in the Dark was a good game.
But actually I'd paid them the day before to ask me that so I could make a joke about it now.
Always.
I love a good tenor-bari duet, but the interaction in "Everyone's Wrong But Me" is so weird that I can't hear the missing notes. What even is this song.
Would you look at that.
I'm completely Brigade ready an entire two days early? Now what?? 🤣
Brigade Intensive Review Week: Begin.
Hour 17 of attempting to get home from Denver.
Here are the final Cosmic Dark stretch goals: if we reach £95,000, @helloalexroberts.bsky.social will write Little Changes. And, if we reach £100,000, the amazing @jaredlogan.bsky.social will write Shells.
And that's it! What will I talk about now? Back the Kickstarter pls
I loved the strawberry & cream cheese ones!
