IVs just don't exist in Champions as far as I can tell.

Other than that, BATTLES. And full Pokemon Home and Pokemon Go compatibility.

It takes it from a ton of free time to grind to "Have a fully evolved mon? Let's get them trained up" in about 15 minutes.

Champions is a self contained platform for competitive battling. It pulls out a TON of the busywork associated with training up pokemon. I.E. there is this Effort Value stat in the games, you have to manually raise it with vitamins. In Champions, you trade a free currency to custom set their stats.

Yeeeah, now that it isn't like a 20+ hour grind to just try a team out, I am kinda hooked.

Pokopia is the absolute best Pokémon game ever made. Its like, not even close and I adore that its not an RPG, its about connecting with the pokemon.

I also found cyperpunk-tcg-sim.online that lets you run hotseat or internet games. It includes the demo decks prebuilt and you can also import decks.

If you follow the kickstarter, Update 3 has some printable learn to play decks that you can try out and get a feel for it.

From an art perspective, CDPR, Trigger andthe concept artists for 2077 are doing the card art. Some is a little like contrast dark, but BOY HOWDY when it hits it hits. :D

Each deck has 3 Legends, which serve as commanders and resources.

The game is *fast*, as when the last Gig is rolled (always d20), each player has one more turn to win.

The most interesting things about it to me:
- Each player has a d4-d20, representing Gigs. You need 9 of 12 to win. Gigs get rolled, and the total on your controlled Gigs give you street cred, which powers up (or down) cards depending on the total. Its really dynamic.

They are calling it Silver Scroll but its deffo cold foil.
