Tweet by Martina Navratilova. "Predator. That is how he should register. A sexual predator…" quote-tweeting a tweet by "Biology Rules OK" about Dr. Beth Upton, a trans woman

This tweet is highly defamatory and Martina Navratilova should be fired from BBC Sport for it.

It demonstrates an horrendous level of hatred for a trans woman (who was cleared of all wrongdoing in a recent tribunal) because she is a trans woman.

Well let's see how this strategy of telling "white liberals" to "fuck right off" works out in the local elections

An insightful review of Ambleside Roman fort. The visitor has awarded the fort a lowly two stars noting it's "not worth to visit (sic) this place unless if you are interested in Roman history."

I do hope you weren't as disappointed in the forts as this poor soul. I'm genuinely intrigued as to what they had expected to find on a visit to Ambleside Roman fort.

"The gambling industry brings positive benefits"?!?!?!

Is Nandy insane?

Apart from the ruined lives, of which there are far too many, the industry funnels money out of the country to Gibraltar, Cayman Islands and more.

Israel bombed an ambulance in Lebanon, and then bombed paramedics that came to the rescue, and then bombed more paramedics that came to the rescue again. What do you mean, you don't support triple taps? Are you some kind of antisemite?

Starmer was kept in dark about Mandelson’s vetting by two other top civil servants Exclusive: Officials have spent weeks debating whether or not to release highly sensitive information about the affair

The fact remains that this utter debacle is entirely of Starmer's own making. He chose to announce Mandelson's appointment BEFORE vetting had been completed. To shift the blame for his own ineptitude onto others is weak, cowardly and, frankly, despicable.

Critical Atlantic current significantly more likely to collapse than thought Scientists say finding is ‘very concerning’ as collapse would be catastrophic for Europe, Africa and the Americas

Literally devastating news

And almost certainly even worse because the models don't include the effects of huge volumes of Greenland meltwater pouring into the North Atlantic at a rate of 30 million tonnes AN HOUR

I know this is a really important subject to the hon. Lady. Of course, the Government received the revised draft guidance only yesterday and they issued a statement today. It is important to remember that.
The hon. Lady mentioned parkrun a minute or two ago, before the flurry of interventions. What does her vision mean for me, as a keen parkrunner? Would I have to submit evidence that I am a man to parkrun in order to run as a man? Likewise, would women have to do the same? How does she see that working?

I think it is fairly obvious that the hon. Gentleman is a man, to be honest. I think the majority of the human race could tell that. If there is a much
smaller person running in that category, they simply do not belong there. The Government have

A closeup of the tiny toad from the previous photo, perched on an orange mushroom stem! They are light brown in color with small, symmetrical markings in darker brown! They have very skinny legs! If you look very closely, they only have a couple of toes on each foot!

I have many friends/colleagues who voted LibDem in 2010 who still adamantly refuse to do so again due to the sense of betrayal at the Tory coalition. Once trust is loss, regaining it is nigh on impossible. The potential for being equally tainted is just as real for any potential Green coalition.

Being an established party is precisely what's working against Labour. They counted on residual working class loyalty yet many of their former core voters now see them as punching down with as much enthusiasm as the Tories rather than offering a helping hand to haul people up.

When the author of a medieval saint's life interrupts their own narrative to assure readers that the saint in question never drank more than half a glass of wine with dinner, that there are many witnesses who can vouch for this, and those who say otherwise are liars - what do we conclude, class?

7 hours of silence from the Prime Minister.

The US is using UK bases. The President is openly talking about destroying a civilisation.

And Downing Street says... nothing.

If you won’t speak up now, when will you?

Starmer attacks Greens, saying vote for Labour rivals puts new workers’ rights at risk PM also criticises business figures and opponents of changes, many of which come into force on Monday

Starmer, like all centrists, is more worried about the soft left than the far-right. See 1930s Germany for further details. Frit, much?
