For the first time in week it felt like we got a decent amount of games played. We enjoyed Burgle Bros Black Jack more than we expected but Gachapon Trick was the highlight.
Panel 1: Rachel slashes through zombie-like creatures called Polyps. Yellow blobs pop off them as she swings, with “SWOOP” sound effects. One Polyp looks startled. Rachel says, “It’s the sound of the Polyps!” Panel 2: Rachel stands next to Heinze, she asks “What’s wrong?” Heinze replies, “Oh, I’m just scared of the beast.” Panel 3: Rachel smiles reassuringly, holding her sword, and says, “Don’t worry, it’s just as scared of us as you are of it!” Panel 4: A dark forest scene labeled “BEAST.” A shadowy creature named Bolgin lurks with glowing eyes. A dripping speech bubble says “Ohhhh!” and below it reads, “That’s a good card!” Panel 5: Rachel and Heinze stand together again. Both look alarmed now, and Rachel says, “Ok, now we should worry.”

This is now the cats in too small game boxes thread right?
Think what you will, but he did make it fit!
Two cats, Apollo (an orange fluffy cat) and Starbuck (a gray fluffy cat), are shown looking very grumpy in a series of scenes, while off-panel, we humans discuss how modern board game boxes are getting smaller. We praise the change, saying it’s better, saves space, and is good for the environment. In the final panel, we even say that we see absolutely no downsides to game boxes getting smaller these days. In the panel, we see Starbuck and Apollo trying to sit in tiny board game boxes (Deckers and General Orders: Sengoku Jidai) and it clearly doesn't fit and they look rather miserable.
New comic! As board game boxes shrink, we must not forget the unseen victims of this industry shift. 😿
