The last time WH40K lore was any good was when Ian Watson was contributing to it. Farewell. #warhammer40k #grimdark
It's good to see my country getting its shit together finally. #hungary #elections
I already installed it three times this week in qemu to figure out what not to fuck up if I ever install it on my PC. Reminds me of my first time with arch some 10+ years ago.
I've spent a significant amount of my Sunday hunting for a Pikachu in Pokémon X at my son's request, which reminded me: where is the sequel to Detective Pikachu? I don't even mind if Pikachu isn't a detective, I would watch it if it were Cashier Pikachu or Urologist Pikachu too. #pokemon #pikachu
The Trudvang Kickstarter is nearing 600K euros and introduced a new pledge level, that includes the four rulebooks and some extras (screen, crads, dice). Time to upgrade my pledge I guess. Of course my SSD also chose this day to die... #dragonbane #trudvang #rpg #kickstarter
I backed it in the first minute.
The rewards for Arduin's Portal to Adventure kickstarter arrived. I don't remember back scratchers being among the stretch goals. Thank you, Emperor's Choice! #arduin #osr #rpg #bunny
If you are into sword & sorcery and aren't reading Savage Realms Monthly, it's about time to do something with about it. Here is a short review for the November 2025 issue. #magazine #swordandsorcery

After many years of teasing it seems the time has come to start saving for the new HackMaster. #rpg #hackmaster
Want to know what to expect from BRP: Creatures? Exactly what it promises, nothing less, maybe a tiny bit more. Which is why I like it. vorpalmace.github.io/brp-creatres... @chaosium.bsky.social #chaosium #rpg #brp
BRP Creatures has arrived. I'm still in the middle of reading it cover to cover, but so far it's a pleasant surprise. @chaosium.bsky.social #chaosium #brp #rpg
My mood is swinging between "it's only one more day" and "it's still one more day".
Better late than never, here is my Cauldron Con 2025 report: vorpalmace.github.io/cauldron-con... #rpg #rpgcon #cauldroncon
Bored of bland and uninspiring modern fantasy book covers? Buy some fucking sword & sorcery. #swordandsorcery #books
I did the Bartle Test of Gamer Psychology just for shits and giggles. The result is unsurprising and pretty much mirrors my approach to playing tabletop rpgs too. #mmorp #mud #rpg #bartle
Was that 3d6 down the line though? :)
Let me guess, it has "borg" in the title.
Looks like the lovechild of a sylvan and Jaskier/Dandelion from The Witcher.
I'm pretty sure they only live in zoos. They are pets zoologists don't want to share with us. Assholes.
Wow, thank you! Hope I will be able to support in more meaningful ways once there is a release.
Yesterday I started reading Christopher Buehlman's The Blacktongue Thief. It's been a while since I found a book I couldn't put down. It's lean, mean, hilarious. Reminds me the first time I've read William King's Trollslayer.
Happy Birthday!
Black Hack is not my cup of tea, but I'm glad your campaign is going well.
Hah, that would be an honour! :D
The word "roguery" irks me a great deal. I think I first saw it in Against the DarkMaster. I know it's in the dictionary, but it's awkward. I would use "Thievery", "Subterfuge", "Cunning", "Trickery" instead, or "Skulduggery" if you want to sound old-school.
Trent Smith's Brink of Calamity is Deal of the Day on DriveThruRPG. If you have been waiting for a good oppurtinity to buy it like me, now is the time! His Heroic Legendarium is one of the most epic AD&D supplements out there, so my expectations are high.
We use "zed" in Hungary too, and we don't even pronounce "z" as "zed".
