"Biological Sex" is a transphobic slur. It's intention is to segregate and other trans people. It makes no sense, but those using it don't care, it's purpose is to marginalise and ridicule trans and non-binary people.

I will always love Youtube because I occasionally stumble onto an absurd passion project like this channel that has been uploading almost exclusively niche Shenmue videos for 19 years to minimal attention, and had one Sonic video picked up by the algorithm and make it to my recommends. Beautiful.

I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.

I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee

They know very well that no trans woman would agree to participate. Which is of course the point.

Imagine if a child had planned to run away from home, or harmed themselves in some other way, the media would very likely be sympathetic to the child, but with this, no, the child and her suffering is a topic for minimising, not supporting.

Section of a tweet by Janet Murray reads, "Partial win for accurate reporting and journalistic standards with @Observer.
4h
Last Sunday I raised concerns about a piece centred on a six-year-old male child - who reportedly attempted to cut off "her penis" after being told he could no longer attend Rainbows (Girlguiding's section for 4-7 year olds).
Seven days on, the article has now been quietly amended.
"Her penis" has been removed. So have the she/her pronouns -and some of the ideological framing.
For example: "trans girl.. her daughter." has been replaced with "was born with male genitalia and identifies as female, which is recognised by the parents
And: "holding a pair of plastic scissors to her penis" has been replaced with "their child attempting genital self-harm with a pair of plastic scissors"."

The Observer directly capitulating to anti-trans zealots.

Yet, The Times publish an article were i am erroneously called a "lunatic" and "a bloke". Both statements factually inaccurate. I'm neither a "lunatic" or a "bloke".

This is yet further proof of mainstream UK press bias against trans folk.

There’s a certain kind of cis liberal who “tolerates” trans people’s presence but expects them to act like they’re lucky to be welcomed into that space at all and who’ll react with explosive rage if they assert themselves in any way whatsoever or show any hint of self-confidence.

Panel 1: A park. A donut truck. A red-haired white woman sitting inside the donut truck, looking relaxed. The truck is Rolling Donuts, and there are three donuts painted under the worker window, a menu with prices, text near the bottom of the truck that reads "Tastes like magic!", a big Rolling Donuts logo with donuts for "O"s (clever!) and a message that says No Trans Fats! Only there's a tiny, near-illegible "or" between "trans" and "fats", because we all know how J.K. Rowling do.

Another white lady, this one blonde in t-shirt and jeans, walks up with a brown puppy on a leash. "Oh," she says, "Rolling Donuts!"

Panel 2: The blonde lady walks up to the woman in the truck window, smiling. "We used to have these all the time when I was a kid! I loved them!

Panel 3: The woman in the truck smiles. "Wonderful," she replies. "And now, as a bonus, $2 from every donut goes towards killing dogs!"

Panel 4: The truck lady's hand motion towards a a sign, which reads "Dogs are just fake wolves! I hate them SO much! Thank you for your support in their eradication!"

Panel 5: The blonde woman holds a hand to her mouth, shocked. "Killing?" she says.

The truck lady smiles, happy. "Yup!"

Panel 6: The blonde lady turns to face her dog, stricken.

Panel 7: The dog looks up, wagging his tail and panting.

Panel 8: The dog, realizing what is coming, lowers his tail and puts his tongue back in his mouth.

Panel 9: The lady in the truck is holding 6 dozen donuts, in neon pink and blue and the Rolling Donut logo, with text across their sides that reads "We hate dogs!"

The blonde woman is looking back at her dogs, guilt on her face.

"...but they're just SO yummy!" she says!

Sad trombone goes here.

That's my comic!

This probably isn't going to change people's minds, but sometimes it is easier to evoke sympathy for dogs than it is to evoke sympathy for trans folks.

Giving money to J.K.Rowling is the same as giving money to eradicate transgender people.

JK Rowling is calling women athletes men even after they pass genetic testing. People in her replies are talking about these women having “ambiguous” genitalia. We are in an extremely frightening moment for ALL women thanks to transphobia.

And her momentum is not slowing any time soon, with a new HBO Max series adaptation of the Harry Potter books going into production this summer, expected to run for a decade beginning in late 2026 and mint a whole new generation of fans. Forbes estimates that Rowling could earn about $20 million per year for her involvement in the new series—one part of a wide-ranging deal with Warner Bros.—and she was "very, very involved in the process selecting the writer and the director," said HBO Max CEO Casey Bloys in November. One has to imagine she had the same input in casting the new pre-teen Harry, Hermoine and Ron, announced on Monday. When asked about Rowling's politics on an episode of The Town

J.K. Rowling is using her wealth attained from the Harry Potter series to create an organization dedicated to removing transgender people's rights "in the workplace, in public life, and in protected female spaces."

The author announced in a Saturday post to X, formerly Twitter, that she would be founding the J.K. Rowling Women's Fund, using her personal fortune. The website for the group states that it "offers legal funding support to individuals and organisations fighting to retain women's sex-based rights in the workplace, in public life, and in protected female spaces."

If you need help convincing people not to watch the new HP show, here it is. JKR will make $20m per year from the show, per Forbes. She also openly admits that she pours her fortunes into anti-trans activism, per Yahoo News. There’s a direct pipeline between HP and trans people’s suffering.
