The new Fist of the North Star series has an obvious pitch; it’s one of the biggest inspirations for Jojo, so why not bite the Jojo OP style? Problem is, doing that level of detailed CG animation is a lot more tenable for a 90 second OP than a 24 minute episode. The result just looks lazy.

No, podcasting did not arrive with Serial or Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend, it had been around for a long time before those with nobodies deciding to record themselves talking about something that interested them.

I do not like Serial trying to claim the creation of true crime podcasting. There were smaller podcasts with fewer resources doing true crime for years before hand, but it only matters when someone with prestige shows up. Such is the way of all podcasting.
