Just sent the premier of western australia a direct message to his private account on Facebook to tell him to stop being a shill for the gas industry.

This is what it always comes back to. The problem with the hypothesis is that the examples are all PMs who were some combination of governed badly and/or were scandal-ridden. The control here isn't time it's governing well.

The only way to test the hypothesis (or indeed the “People won’t stomach tough choices!” one) is to have a non-shit PM (or offer people tough choices).

UK is not incomparable to Australia. The current PM has lasted nearly 2 terms. Albeit pretty disappointingly.

Not as many as you'd expect

Depends on where you are. Many of the regional chargers in WA are government owned because they wouldn't be profitable.

We expect some positive decisions tomorrow on the €90 billion loan to Ukraine.

This would show that our support for Ukraine remains strong and that Russia cannot outlast Ukraine.

"The price of gas paid by Japan will not increase when we impose this tax."

"The profits made by the people selling the gas will fall."

Don't believe the empty threats from the gas industry that they'll leave if Australia taxes its gas exports properly.

Inpex are looking to invest RIGHT NOW in high-taxing Norway. They're taking the piss.

New Australia Institute research shows that the Japanese Government makes more revenue taxing Australian gas than the Australian Government!

Yep. I have done 18000km in a year as EV owner and only ever charged at home. Cost me under $500 for whole year

What do you not understand about the fact that those laws did not make it illegal to criticise Israel?

Anti-zionism is not anti-Semitism and there is regular ongoing criticism of Israel by Ukrainian people and NGOs regularly and they are not prosecuted.

anti-Semitism, as racism, should be crime

I bet you didn't even fucking read that Al-Jazeera article lol

It's ability to intercept ballistic missiles fired at them by neighbours, basically. He wants their military tech. That's about it. He has in the past criticised Israel also. But Ukraine needs PAC missiles and other things and he positions himself politically accordingly.

Yeah, if you don't have home charging EVs are not as cheap and not as convenient as they would be otherwise. But, most EV owners do have home chargers, and in the future most workplaces and businesses will offer charging. This will resolve all of those problems.

So ahh, that ceasefire is looking really solid right now hey?

Also this is one of the many articles I have already read on the situation. It does not say criticism of Israel is outlawed, anywhere in that article or any other I have found so far.

2 days ago 0 0 0 0

Also, do you even realise you used an Israeli news article about it as your source of truth?

2 days ago 0 0 0 0

PA are not active in Ukraine and this is not about that. PA were outlawed in the UK not in Ukraine.

Two to five years would still require someone to be committing a hate crime, promoting violence, etc.

These laws do not prevent criticism of Israel, nor calling out of genocide by Israel.
