The Constitution created the judicial branch. It exists to interpret the Constitution: applies articles, amendments, enacted laws, and precedent (caselaw) to the facts to determine a verdict, which becomes law. The only way to remove a justice is impeachment. Why? It’s what the Founders wanted.

If they were afraid to enforce this after Congress impeached him for it as well as other things, I fear to think what atrocities he will perpetrate that they will also be afraid to act on. We don’t need wimps. We need reps that enforce the constitution. That’s their job. If not, we’re screwed.

I would prefer for them to try and fail rather than to give in. History will show that they ignored enforcement of 14:3. The precedent has been set: just ignore constitutional law. I didn’t go to law school/practice with the expectation that our reps would cavalierly trash/ignore Con law!
