Anything regarding roegadyn lore, and particularly the language. It is a VERY frustrating mess because they dig their heels in so hard about giving us any lore for it outside of what was established in 1.x, and then when they do it's just... half-assed and contradicts itself.

It's just a mess, and you have to dig into so many obscure resources to get a whiff of the established lore because it's not a Popular Race, despite having an extremely passionate playerbase. SE are just so shit about it. And they make it worse every time they add to it.

Like cool, awesome to know it does exist, but holy shit, show us? We were IN THE SPINE multiple times in HW and got nothing. We got nothing in SB despite Gyr Abania and Abalathia being clearly hand in hand, Abalathia connects TO Ala Mhigo and they're the major populace outside of hyur.

Sure, I took their "schneebal is a hellsguard desert" from the Starlight event and went 'okay, so hellsguard 100% have a deviation in the old tongue language since the nagyn migration' — it should be spelt SCHNY though — but when your never-updated dictionary has snoe for snow instead it's like lmao

And I mean, yeah, retcons happen. What they don't however tell us is when it IS a retcon, so you have deep lore fighting against new lore that they slapdash together because they don't give a fuck about the race or its clans given multiple expacs giving us the chance to (HW, EW; Abalathia/Sharlayan)

Given the photos take arguably more than the scans to do these days in terms of physical effort and set up/clean up vs how quick I am at mastering a scan after doing archival scans for the last 20 years it's a fair trade-off. Still marks that they're from my collection.

Photos'll have a small origin marker/copyright info on it but the scans will just have metadata.

I'm also probably going to reupload scans without the watermark; good for archiving everywhere that way, especially now I know places like the wikia are actually attributing things properly instead of just ganking them like I did before I started watermarking stuff.

I still have so much old code/pages to port over, and split in terms of items. So damn much. But I've put it off again after doing a huge chunk of it so it's time to fix that.

Oh I have MISSED big display workspaces for this.

And honestly I just have too much health stuff going on rn fixing teeth and the like to even consider upgrading my desktop machine to something that could run XIV at full strength monetary wise. I don't *want* to rely on mods for what should be a vanilla face, I have a PS5 for that!

I miss FFXIV actually being fun. I'll still have things to pick at and do with Sko shrouded up so I don't freak out everytime I'm forced to see her face in a cutscene thanks to housing subscriptionr, but I'm just. I'm not happy. There are other factors too rn but just regarding XIV I'm... done.
