Totally not adding Gen AI to Ellipsus.

Soon... 👀📄
MAGA-controlled social media is doing the work of book bans by suppressing support for marginalized authors. If you haven’t seen much from us on TikTok this week, that’s why. Our recent post celebrating and supporting Trans Day of Visibility was shadowbanned. 🧵👇
We don't do April Fool's day jokes actually 😅 These are real, small features that we do from time to time in-between working on the bigger ones.
It’s an upcoming feature!
Missing those "ARRRGHHHH I LOVE THIS SM. I NEED MORE 😱" comments when sharing your Ellipsus writing?
Oh boy, do we have news for you!
Introducing: Reader Comments!
Hey everyone—the coast is clear. Our iconic developers have resolved the issue and Ellipsus should now be working as normal. Thank you for your patience!

Take the pages, keep your life—we're actively working on it :)
We don't want AI-generated stories.
We want stories that are beautiful and weird.
Mistakes and obsessions. Labyrinthine worlds; love poems that break us.
We want the wild stroke of chance, the stray detail.
We don't want soulless slop.
We want work *written* by HUMANS.
It should!
Shoutout to everyone who’s been valiantly escaping the AI-riddled hellworlds of Google Docs and Microsoft Word. 🙏 Now, you can make your exit from the LLM-industrial-productivity-complex a lot faster.
Introducing…
.docx import and export!!

Hi there thanks for reporting. We should hide that icon when you set the reader back to private. I’ve created a ticket for the team and we can tackle that in the coming days. 🙏

A graphic of a Google search bar with the Gemini logo reads "Ask me anything."
While OpenAI, Anthropic, and X's Grok have dominated headlines in the 'AI race' thanks to numerous scandals, Google Gemini has flown relatively under the radar…🧵
It’s coming soon!
A teaser of two new Ellipsus themes: "True Valentine", a bright red and pink theme, and "Orchid Noir" a sultry a dark-violet and pink.
Next #ThemeThursday, pick your trope:

We like to think Ellipsus is... versatile 😆
An infographic from Shoshana Zuboff's The Age of Surveillance Captalism representing the process of what Zuboff calls "behavioral surplus" — the value captured by rendering behavior from data informed predictions
Google claims they don't sell your personal data—and technically that's true: they don't sell raw data. Rather, they sell predictions of your behavior fashioned from your data.
From its war on privacy, to data extraction: surveillance capitalism started with Google.
A meme of a Skeleton in sprinting a position. To the left the Google office products are listed (Google suite, Google docs, Gmail, etc). The text reads: "Just walk out, you can leave! If it sucks… hit da bricks!! Real winners quit."
"As political norms continue to erode, taking regulatory capabilities down with them, the question isn’t if Big Tech will cave on privacy commitments—but when, how much, and at whose expense… But there's good news—we can leave."
