Rolled some dice for a sound effect and somehow got all 6s? Is this a good or bad omen? (It was three dice)
So far been a pretty good experience overall. Hitting all my personal goals for the event and honestly going fairly smooth for not having coded any personal projects in a year or so.
The fun thing about game jams is if you aren’t very skilled everything takes at least twice as long so by the time the end hits it’s just exhaustion city. Already feeling so tired and halfway there.
Absolutely insane low score for this one holy
I’m ill-prepared this time around but running it back for my fourth Ludum Dare this weekend. Gonna create something terrible if anyone potentially wants a game to play next week.
Been playing a lot of Diablo 2 Resurrected lately and it’s making me consider picking up the Diablo 4 expansion later this month.
As someone who hasn’t played since launch and has not played the previous DLC, is it worth jumping back in to? I was kind of lukewarm on it my first playthrough.
Nothing sadder than being 40 and having to carefully eat Cheetos because you have hand blisters from OG Mario Party
CSD Bundle + Botany Manor feels like one of the best ways anyone could spend $7
Why are so many keys in video games one time use? Am I just breaking keys in chests every time I open one?
I’m not usually one for many YouTube series but Tip to Tip China has been such a fantastic time and I’m gonna be sad when it’s over.
Getting the urge to reinstall Diablo II and I don't even know why
50 cow minimum to even register
My hot take is that the majority of Italian foods can make a good sandwich
“You look like someone that plays Crimson Desert” is my new signature line I’m workshopping.
Wanna finish at least one game project this year and trying to decide if I want to do another jam next month or put all my time and effort into something with a slightly larger scale.
Haven't really done a non-jam effort since 2022.
It’s a big reason why I don’t love Kickstarter for games where you see a little bit of success ruining the vision as more and more unnecessary features are crammed in as backer goals.
They try to do too much.
I went back and played some Supermarket Sim and TCG Card Shop Sim from fresh save files and it really taught me that a lot of these sim games try to do so much in early access that they really end up wrecking the early game tutorials and late game curves for the grind.
Neither holds up for me.
I still have a sound byte of the announcer yelling SAD KEN on my desktop.
Bloodborne screenshot of Moon Presence defeated with 4038 deaths and a smiling me in a plaid shirt.
and with that Bloodborne BL4 all bosses comes to a close.
Just a measly 4038 deaths.
Orphan of Kos boss fight with the words PREY SLAUGHTERED across the screen in green and white text and an empty health bar. I am in the corner looking tired and relieved to be done.
A decade ago I gave up on the Bloodborne The Old Hunters DLC cause it was too hard for me and today I finally completed it all without leveling a single time.
This is probably the hardest Souls low level challenge I've done so far.
Just two final bosses left to complete and I'll be fully done.
The bottom of the final page of the Turok 2 walkthrough section where it states “Please Note: Because the book was created before the Turok 2 games were released , we were unable to complete certain sections and objectives for some levels. For additional up-to-the-minute walkthrough information, visit our companion web site, at” and then links to a now non-existent website.
Just found my official Turok 2 strategy guide where they essentially gave up at the end before finishing.
I’d imagine keeping up with Square Enix merch pricing would quickly put a lot of people in debt
It kicks my ass every time
Well after having it running on my second monitor pretty much all weekend I just finished Horripilant.
Unbelivably cool and fresh incremental game meets point and click horror.
A little grindy, but so many fresh ideas to the genre. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I think that’s why Grimace is my favorite even though I haven’t read the McDonald’s manga.
