Two months ago I floated my fantastic idea for the Democrats and the next presidential election: hologram JFK.
I love how much faith LinkedIn has in me! It’s so delusional! Where does it get this idea?! (Though, tbh, I am pretty sure I could be a CEO if someone appointed me as one.)
Reportedly everything back to normal, a lot of anecdotes online with people saying they were through in 15 minutes. I’d still be there at 12:30 but I’m neurotic.
I usually say I feel like I’m in a pressure cooker but today I told my spouse I feel like I’m in our tofu press. Which made me really reflect on how I wish I was a block of tofu.

I have always felt that a lot of my morality comes from Mister Rogers (with a bit from my mom and some from being an air sign). I also feel like in this current moment you can tell who watched Mister Rogers and who didn’t. Should be required viewing even today.
My biggest pet peeve on Letterboxd is people who rate everything 4+ stars and above. I cannot take you seriously. (True for those jerks who think everything is 1 or 2 stars as well.)

No joke, their roasted salted pistachios blow any others I’ve had out of the water. (Any time I talk about nuts I think of the scene in BEST IN SHOW where Harlan Pepper names all the nuts he can think of.)

Actually that was an overstatement. I’m part of a study to see if certain treatments help treatment resistant depression. They do an MRI before treatment and then another 1 day and then 1 week after. So I go back tomorrow for treatment then more scans over the next week. My brain is unremarkable 😹
Meanwhile, I’m doing a study to find out why my brain is so fucked up 🫠
Just want to brag that my spouse is so amazing that they get to do infinitely cool things like give a guest lecture in Switzerland today (with one of their collaborators in Feminist Elsewheres, Fiona Berg)!

He was NOT pleased by the blizzard we got that delayed his family from getting him but he was pleased by the gourmet scrambled egg breakfast he got every day so it all balanced out.
I’m going to be up there again on 3/16 and will see if it’s there still, I’m super curious!
