Well the Strixhaven pre-release didn’t go… well for me.
I came in determined to build Prismari and damn what my pulls had to say about it.
Well my pulls said last place.
Built Witherbloom out of what was left later at home and yeah… thaaat would have been the play.

Huh. Guess I was on to something making 0/1 defenders.. and having ideas for spells to turn them into other things.
Yeah I was actually considering attempting to go pro around then. But I had to work on Friday nights so that was a big roadblock. The one FNM I was able to attend I completely smoked with mono red.. but time moved on and I actually sold the bulk of my cards, so I’m rebuilding a bit. Buy singles!
I really haven’t even touched Magic since Return to Ravnica/Theros. Can’t say my color combo knowledge beyond guild colors is perticularly strong.

This one was basically yanking the effect off of Helldozer (Ravnica) and making it a bit more expensive.
Yeah I figured free treasure tokens would be a bit busted for a funny egg joke mechanic. Wimpy defenders probably the way to go.
I’m not totally sold on the Egg tokens being creatures and basically just sac outlets.. would treasure tokens be too bonkers? Not that I’m expecting to play any of these, but I like my cards to be reasonable.

Would never try to get this printed/played (at least not with such overt art) but card mechanics have their own ways of inspiring ideas.
I'd imagine unlimited tokens could get out of hand in its own way, but she's obviously a voltron centerpiece.

Literally just a re-skinned Niv-Mizzet, The Firemind.. but I figure the easiest way to actually play it is to have a perfectly legal card to point at.

Got introduced to Commander. Realized how important having something to say about stuff happening around the board is real fast. Though I would prefer Redirect to Counterspell any day.
Never thought blue/white would get unseated from their throne of wet blankets.
Plus kobolds are totally red creatures.
Cancer? I just like exploding things and drawing cards. And only a couple counter spells.
