Deleted the last two posts because they were really wordy, but to sum it up, not liking the look of non-human lineart and control for how the art looked allowed me to practice and improve in 2D art which is a medium I never thought I would work in. Look forward to more of this mixed in with my 3D

April 2026 Completed Art.
EQUINOX END ๐ผ
My most recent piece I made every part from start to finish, and with some alterations in Photoshop and Lightroom, made what you see. Learning 2D art so far has been very rewarding. I have a long way to go, but enjoy this Onryo for now โ๏ธ

Late February 2026 Practice
Since the start of using Blender from Maya, I've been immediately drawn to Grease Pencil and the idea of modeling/ shading my art to resemble concepts. The first one was a more simplified are while the 2nd a proper environment . This look will be making a return later.
(2/2) new to Blender from Maya so I've been learning that from the ground up for all of March so expect progress for that to continue you and complete with all subsequent 3D being streamlined
With that, it does not mean that I haven't been working on new things which I'll post following this
(1/2) Still around and still kicking!
After being trapped in my home for 4 days due to a sudden freeze back in February, along with visiting family and attending a wedding, I finally managed to get back to my bot with the sudden realization that I had no idea how to UV objects due to being
Little picture from the start of being snowed in the other day. The stairs still have plenty of ice on them so we're trapped till the sun comes out a little more โ๏ธ
As promised, more information to share on Buoy Bot's design showing off a caustics test for the robot submerged.
The legs on it's body make it able to move fully omnidirectionally; however, it does not possess the ability to turn so instead the pilot goes off the cardinal directions built in.
Kicked off January strong with getting sick immediately with the Flu.
Heres some beauty shots of Buoy Bot's model with updated features from the concept. I'll go into details this week on design choices. For now, enjoy seeing the potential way it would get lowered into the depths ๐

Nothing to improve my day than a random text from my mom saying she ran an old photo of me through generative AI using the "cool anime" preset ๐
Whatever. Go my hornets ๐ซฑ๐ชก
Created some concept art for a currently upcoming project.
Current name I'm thinking of is "Buoyancy Bot."
I'd love to hear your thoughts on it and potential names!

Happy 2026, Blue Sky!
To skip the bulk, I lost access to my software after job change last year so for the majority of 2025 I've been teaching myself Blender to create again and the community has been so inviting so its time to make the most of this account!
Look forward to more all year! ๐
New art fresh off the presses!
Been learning a new art style so practiced with this concept art of a handheld scanner by Arthur Mougne: www.artstation.com/artwork/ykoKZO
All created in Blender with the help of the grease pencil and good test of direct color variations for concept

Sometimes I decide that maybe its time to catch some language practice and other times I leave for a long while to come back to THIS. Duolingo Owl??? You okay???
2/2 Thanksgiving week kept me very busy and the week directly after I started a new job which is only now starting to wind down from training so I'm looking to make time to continue the environment as I settle in.
Make no mistake, I'm still making a few things and I'll hopefully share more soon!
1/2 Following up from the post showcasing my partner's talent, I can properly say now that the environment I'm currently working on is the living quarters of the Tulpar from Mouthwashing!
This is the perfect time for me to properly introduce you all to my gf @espmodeus.bsky.social and her talented artwork! I only asked her to redesign the character, but she went above and beyond to remake the whole magazine cover from scratch! Please go show her some love if you like cool 2D art!
Got another fun past project to share since I've been doing Thanksgiving obligations! Back at the end of 2019, when Xbox first revealed their Series X console, I made a design concept and reached out to help them get an idea of what people really wanted! Suffice to say....never heard back ๐

The PNG cats swirling around it is one thing, but then there are plots where a man goes crazy and talks to cats that sound like muppets, they shoot a kid for his water guns, and the "after credits" is some fairy tale that reads like an indoctrination to a cult. I wish I was making this up
Friends and I normally hop into VC every so often to find movies to chill out together and we may have watched the biggest dumpster fire of a movie the other night. This is an anthology film and I wish that was the weirdest part of this thing
Can count even less times that it was written by a human ๐ค
One of my previous pieces was actually something Arkane related so I guess I do have an aesthetic preference ๐
Think more recent and far more indie!
ITS ON SIGHT, JIMBO
Oh yeah blockouts don't tend to have materials as everything is just a placeholder shape!
HOWEVER thank you for bringing NaissanceE to my attention I always need more indie games to look out for!
Some quick Maya Render screenshots of the brand new environment blockout I've been working on. Can you guess what game I've been obsessed with this whole month? ๐๏ธ

This is my first time ever hearing of this channel and I'm loving what I'm seeing as I scroll down their videos
I imagine this has crossed many people's minds when first learning Substance Designer so a few years back I made the jump and found a way to create a Material of height-variant LEGO bricks.
Getting the actual logo on the brick was a huge step forward and could do so much more with what I know now
