Not only that, but the side characters, while fine, were simply vehicles with a taped on personality. The ending? What ending? Guh. Everything about it just disappointed me -- but at the same time, it feels kinda like a metroid game. Just a soulless one.

You know what? I feel EXACTLY the same way. I fell asleep THREE TIMES while playing this game. The same thing happened to me with Kingdom Hearts III. It wasn't engaging, it had too much open space with not enough pull towards objectives or gripping side missions, no big sense of urgency. Boring.

Tomorrow, that coffee will be that much more delicious... for both of us
