I’ve also perfected several versions of my own; we’re known to show up with batches as guests.

I’m old enough to remember the first SPP location in a diff building on Broadway. Carryout only, couldn’t see over the counter at the time.

My JR High was 4 blocks south of the current/longtime spot. They had to implement a cover charge on dance nights bc they were overrun by soda gulping tweens. 😂

I grew up w/ the St. Paul Park location as a special occasion. Blew my mind when they served it by the slice during the annual Heritage Days festival.

Always found it interesting that the suburban chains are technically unaffiliated w/ the OG Randolph location. Split in the family IIRC.

If I wanted a burrito, I’d get a burrito.

And it’s the only place we can get 72 slices of Bongards white american cheese. 🧀🎉

For a local chain with almost 30 locations, some of their best deals still manage to fly under the radar. Their hot/fresh situation is so good. And I need to be physically restrained when they run BOGO on frozen pizzas.
