Yeah, but when I copy-pasta’d the key out of my IDE it was fine.
I recently did this pasting into github secrets for actions. Thought I was being clever with a quick ‘cat’ of the key file.
If you’re looking for something a little cheaper and specific, you can get my largest book’s complete package:

I’m not big on advertising and posting sales, but if you want to buy everything I am writing in the next year, early, and at a deep discount…take 60% off my Rails 8 bundle:

This is the time of year when I watch the stats from Shopify and roll my eyes when people say “Rails doesn’t scale”
“Let’s not break anything before the code freeze”, is just programmer for “Let’s circle back to this after the holiday”
I guess I balance out the world by thanking AI and saying please when it gives me a correct answer.
✨ I built a thing for all you Bluesky people ✨
It's an analytics and posting tool for Bluesky.
It tracks your posts and their stats in a compact table, and watches engagements for a post's first 48 hours.
Scheduling and drafts are coming very soon!
And it's 100% free in beta 🥰

I’ve decided to not follow back accounts that don’t have a profile and/or stock photo. Does that make me an asshole? I dunno 🤷🏻♂️
“We all pods”
What?
“We all pods”
What?
“We are all pods. Are you hashi?”
Are books valid for your list? Especially if there is SaaS (on Rails) focus?
This post just pushed me to sign up for Beta...I've been looking for something myself and was too lazy to hold my nose for Buffer.
It depends. One or two simple positional args are fine IMO. Anything more and I usually switch to kwargs.
Yeah, if I didn’t start my career with years of existing codebase in rspec I’d agree with that statement. Some of the DSLs are nice, but at the cost of knowing how they work.
So...
Using MiniTest for my #Rails Auth book and I think I like RSpec a "little" better, but honestly, if I was ever forced to use MiniTest it is not that bad at all.
Ah, I forgot about resource…and usually grumble that scaffold is too much.
This 💯 had to be oil, right?
Funny, one of the first FYP repeat offenders for me was a female version of the same thing.
But but…how would they know ChatGPT would do that????
Maybe
A guy that questions a few good things…and is so horribly wrong on EVERYTHING else
I’ve just been more interested in the why…but haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere. Can’t ever put away the “engineer” brain
Is that a…fail-ALF?
Who you seeing?
So there’s some fancy 🦋 DNS I can set up? Someone tell me!
Saw some complaints on the other formerly bird app about the Rails Auth generator feeling incomplete…
Yeah! That’s why I am taking time from writing my primary book to spin up this little mini book: simplerailsauth.com

I wouldn’t mind being on some #ruby and #rubyonrails starter packs, but I also do not want to bug anyone to be added. 😆
Both of my numbers are orders of magnitude less…but yes. Plus, there’s still people I interact with on there that aren’t here or aren’t active here. 🤷🏻♂️
