I got some souvenirs from today’s adventure.

After some testing over the past few months, it was determined I had some blockages in my heart. Today, I had a camera shoved up my arm to check and ended up with two stints put in.

Procedure went fine, I got back home this afternoon and I’m doing fine

Maybe this is finally the point where general consensus becomes…you know…if it looks like a gun now a days, perhaps you shouldn’t have it on your costume.

I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that it happened quickly and there wasn’t time for them to respond. But the silence at this point is what is troubling.

About a year ago, MFF did a table top exercise with leadership that involved a mass shooting at the convention. Seeing these pictures, frankly, makes me sick.

FWA needs to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again.

2. They were probably just as lucky they didn’t set off some other gun toting person at the con…looking to be a hero…who didn’t have the training that a police officer has.

3. The convention itself was damn lucky this person’s action didn’t set off a mass panic event that injured attendees.

1. The person with the prop gun at FWA on Sun was damn lucky he didn’t trigger a police response w/ their action. It would have been bad enough had the police descended on the convention…would have been worse if a police officer saw them & deemed them a threat to the public & tried to neutralize it

I’m not usually one to make “call out” posts…and I certainly don’t do it about conventions, especially ones I don’t attend.

However…

I would really love it if my body and back didn’t punish me for doing yard work over the weekend.

Might as well wish for a pony at this point :/

At dinner, they had the People’s Choice Awards going. I just want to see the celebs go to one of these in a polo and slacks…or heck…even better, hoodie and jeans. Not even something designer…something off the rack from Target.

I use Graysky on both iPhone and iPad. It's pretty good, and certainly miles better than the official app.

Oh…wow. Okay, yes, that is much better. I was a little worried about the in app purchase, but it definitely seems optional.

So….are there any good iPad apps for BlueSky? I can’t believe their app isn’t optimized for a tablet :/

I’ve started using deck.blue…but frankly their interface is slow (even with just 4 columns)

Second straight night of sleeping horribly. I hate when this happens because it basically make my day wasted because I’m exhausted and only want to lay in bed.
