Curious about residential formation for ordained ministry, but wondering if it would work for you? This is a great way to find out a bit about training with us in Cambridge, so you can work out whether you'd like to visit in person.

The Telegraph is publishing dangerous myths about Justin Welby and therapy A recent column in The Telegraph implied that Christian leaders shouldn't need therapy because they can ask God for help instead. Fr Mark Edwards explains why he believes this viewpoint is both wrong ...

Mark Edwards' point in this article is well made and important - it is never shameful to seek or accept mental health support. Not for the clergy, not for anyone.

This parish is in the bottom 1% of the deprivation index. Over 30% of adults have no qualifications.

Tonight at Lent group we wrote cinquains and had a lively discussion about apophatic and kataphatic approaches to prayer.

Never make assumptions about what people are capable of and interested in.

Sitting with a prayer for a season brings all sorts of gifts. As a place shaped by a common life, where we strive for inclusivity, this prayer by Canon Sarah Jones has been a blessing on us in the last few weeks.

One foot in front of the other, making sure I did at least a *bit* (no matter how much) in each session of research time I had scheduled, making a plan with my supervisor and then doing the next thing on it - rather than looking up too far and being overwhelmed by the whole project.

Today in chapel the Westcott community held a vigil for Ukraine and Russia to mark the Third Anniversary of Russian Invasion of Ukraine, praying for all who strive for peace and who fight for justice, remembering the cost of war and asking God to help us work for a better tomorrow.

I utterly love the supportiveness of the @westcotthousecam.bsky.social community when an ordinand is singing BCP Evensong for the first time. ❤️‍

Especially if they have distinguished military careers behind them and are yacht-owning single dads with one daughter!

Just unfortunate that you can't block without first clicking through to their profile - given that you can make a good guess from the thumbnail!

Today is lecture one in our brilliant Theology & Trauma class! Powerful and provocative last year, I have high hopes for this year’s cohort.

We team teach this and ask students to collaborate throughout - community is essential for this kind of learning
