He earned a GED, finished college, married, earned a PhD, started a family, taught physics for 40 years, raised 3 kids who had 5 kids of their own, cared for his elderly aunt, conducted research for the DoD, and told some of the best (worst) jokes. He spoke 7 languages, and aced the NYT crossword.

Today is the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Wobbelin, a concentration camp that housed my dad in his last days as a slave.
