GOOD NEWS! Researchers at Stanford University have developed a UNIVERSAL vaccine known as GLA-3M-052-LS+OVA, that protects against a wide range of respiratory viruses, bacteria AND even allergens. The vaccine is delivered intranasally AND provides broad protection in the lungs for several MONTHS.

I literally got into a disagreement with a nurse at my ols clinic 7-8 years ago about bottom dysphoria, and he was a trans man himself! Seemed to be one of those "hates vagina" guys. Frustrating having that projected onto me as a patient.

This applies to trans men too, not juat trans women! not every trans man has bottom dysphoria, many do but the idea that you have to have bottom dysphoria to recieve treatment in some places *coughgeorgiacoughthesouthcough* is wild.

It's been so overwhelming, I've actually started interacting with political things here on bluesky. and I usually try to keep it limited to twitter so that blue sky can be my safer/fun/artsy place

Screenshot of a NASA tweet:
"We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon."

Below the text is the new photo of Earth, go to nasa.gov to see it in EXTREMELY HIGH RESOLUTION.

A screenshot of a tweet which someone posted in response to NASA's photo of Earth. It talks about the Overview Effect. Below the text is an image.

"🌍 Every astronaut who has seen Earth from this distance describes the same thing independently a shift in how they perceive human conflict, borders and division that persists for the rest of their life. Edgar Mitchell called it the Overview Effect in 1971. Frank White named and documented it in 1987 after interviewing 29 astronauts. The psychological transformation is consistent enough that researchers now study it formally. What those four people are looking at through that window right now is an object so small their thumb can cover it completely. Every war ever fought. Every person who ever lived. Every city ever built. Sitting inside a capsule the size of a minivan, further from home than any humans in 53 years. The image is extraordinary. The silence inside that capsule while they look at it is the part I keep thinking about.

Image of earth on left "what they see from the capsule window" and image of glowing orb on right "What that marble contains: 8 billion people | all recorded human history | every war ever fought | every city | every language"
Underneath, text "Distance from home: 384,000km." "Size Earth appear from lunar distance: smaller than your thumbnail held at arm's length."

Photo of my 125 gal aquarium. For perspective it is 6 ft wide, 24" tall. You can see one of my large fish on the left, about 7" long. The glass is visibly covered in brown algae and tufts of hair algae are visible on many of the filter pipes.

My aquarium is growing hair algae, it has suffocated my delicate plants... I need to buy a bunch of plants to plant as soon as I clean whats there so my fish stay healthy and happy...
Im gonna take donations & will be doing thank you drawings for any dono over $10. Maybe I "mermaid-ify" your OC...

I went to a high school of around 3k kids in Georgia, 2005-2009, and we did in fact have ONE out trans guy who was in fact goth/emo. So at least someone lived the dream lol (it was also too early for kids to know how to be transphobic yet so he wasn't even bullied for it, just for being a weeb 🀣)

A pair of cloven hoof shoes from a 3/4 front view, white fur, dark caramel hooves. They are sitting on a rustic wooden table, and the lower half of a matching wooden armoire can be seen in the background.

Side view of a single black-furred hoof shoe, showcasing the slender angled shape. It a high heeled shoe with the heel removed and a hoof added (shoe was inserted into hoof mold while resin cured and was permanently fused/encased)
Other unfinished hoof shoes can be seen around the table.

Did I ever tell you I used to make hoof shoes? I dressed up as a satyr alot at cons and rennaissance fairs, with full furred legs and leather... armor? Anime armor, lets say.

Maybe one day i'll try again, but its an expensive process/craft to restart even with having reusable hoof molds ready...
