It’s working

Audiobooks are a brilliant invention, but my dogs hate them. 😃

Opposite for me, I listened to it twice. First time I ever listened to a book and it got me hooked to Audiobooks.

Didn’t even get half way before I surrendered

Haven’t started it yet, but thoroughly enjoyed the audible Al read. I’ll start it next week when things settle down.

She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Drancy on 7 December 1943. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

Always amazed at how much I learn and on such a wide range. But the banter, chat and community are a great pull also.

Fellow Afghanistan veterans out there, here is an opportunity to share your experience of Op Herrick. Nobody is interested at the moment, but the time will come. Contribute if you can and ensure that there is a legacy for those who did not return, or bear the scars today.

Most of it went over my head. Very technical but also informative. But the radio book wrote by Pidgeon was my highlight. I’m just a grunt, we like things kept simple.
