if a grind gets to the point you are crashing out you can always take a break and come back to it later, that way you can kinda do a big grind as a bunch of smaller grinds
if you think you can and want to clear something but fear you will take long thats okay, as long as you have fun doing it thats what matters. sometimes i feel like people in the celeste community make clear times seem way more important than they actually are
you know to some extend i feel this, my strength has always been perseverance not doing things really fast, its important to remember that how long you take to clear something doesnt matter cause its the same achievement in the end
like for context ehsg took me longer than 9bb even though i did 9bb before ehsg and its a whole 2 tiers harder, skillset also matters a lot for these things so if you feel more comfortable with more tech heavy gameplay you could definitely do it significantly faster
i think it can still be worth just trying it for yourself if it looks interesting there is nothing wrong with trying something out and then dropping it later either
there is like a lot of factors that go into hour count, sometimes i just take really long because i had a bad session where i was really tired or had bad focus and just kept going anyway cause i enjoyed just playing or talking to chat, its definitely not a very reliable thing to go off of
