Quite a few Dems voted for LR act. It’s wrong to say that most undocumented immigrants are criminals but not wrong to punish the few that are. I don’t personally support the act since it denies full due process to non citizens but I won’t reject a politician for supporting it.

I wish it were that simple. The executive branch oversees all these agencies. A court then needs to decide if the agencies aren’t following law. At least that’s my understanding. Yes it would be great if people in these agencies disobeyed. They would likely just get fired and replaced.
